Olympic Sailing - The 2012 Racing Tour
I am passionate about the sport of sailing. My ambition is
to bring the sport of Olympic yacht racing alive to people with little prior exposure to Olympic sailing but also
to give up to date background to sailors wanting to know more about sailing events in the 2012 Olympic Games.
Our half day tour starts with a guided visit to the shore side facilities at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy. Guests then board “Platonic Affair” to watch racing on the 2012 Olympic Games race-track in Portland Harbour and Weymouth Bay.
The 2012 Yacht Racing Tour is only operated when regattas are taking place on the Olympic racetrack. Tours normally start at 9.30 am and 1.30 pm. Timings however may be subject to change and terms and conditions apply.
